Our Trips

One Hour Beach Trip

We begin by heading down the channel towards the sea. On the way we chat about Wells, its Harbour and things you see from the boat. We visit the Outer Harbour, the RNLI station and beach. We see interesting birds and sometimes see seals. We head out towards the open water to give you a special view up and down the coast. We then head back towards town, taking you back to the main pontoon.

One Hour Marsh Trip

Wells Salt Marsh is an environmentally protected nature reserve, home to a variety of birds and plants. It is also the scene of some great stories of those who have used the marsh with varying degrees of success over the years. We travel slowly and carefully along its creeks, emerging by the whelk sheds at the east end of the Quay. Our journey back along the Quay will give you a new perspective of the town from the water, while we tell you stories of Wells, its historic buildings and boats.

30 Minute Mini Trip

We head east along the quay, giving you a new view of the town from the water. We talk about the history of Wells, its historic buildings and boats. We head briefly into Wells Salt Marsh, an environmentally protected nature reserve. We head back the way we came, offering you the opportunity to take photos or just relax and watch the world go by.

One Hour Harbour Trip

We begin by following the route of the Mini Trip, east along the quay talking about the historic buildings and boats. We head briefly into Wells Salt Marsh and then head down the main channel towards the beach. We don’t go out onto the open sea on this trip, focusing instead on the harbour, its characters and stories. We then head back towards town, taking you back to the main pontoon.

Sunset Tour - approximately One Hour

We head down the channel towards the sea. We arrive at a spot that gives you an unbroken view of the sunset. Once there we take it easy. We might idle along, drop an anchor or drift, so you can enjoy the sound of water lapping against the boat and the unforgettable peace of an evening at sea. Once the sun has gone we head back towards the quay, with its lights shimmering on the water.

Private Charter

What we do on a private charter is up to you; this season we have taken out sea cadets, hen nights, local charities, bird watchers and families wanting to celebrate special occasions. We can take you out at sunset, during the day, to sea, round the marsh, you name it. The price depends on what you want to do, when and for how long, so give us a call if you are interested.
